All of the Cub Scout Leaders take a name from the Jungle books
Leader Must NEVER be called Shere Khan or Tabaqui
Some of the most common ones are shown in the table below. The Leader of the Pack is ALWAYS Akela, who was the Pack Leader of the Seenoee Pack in the Jungle Book.
Because of their central role in Mowgli's life in the Jungle Book, the next two most common are Baloo (the bear who taught Mowgli) and Bagheera (the Panther who saved Mowgli's life by killing a bull to exchange for it). Then, there are a number of other common ones. Some, like Rama name, are used by Leaders who want something a little bit different.... and for those you need to look in the full list!
